Childminding Program
Our Childminding program follows the CMAS (Childminding Monitoring, Advisory and Support) and CNC (Care for Newcomer Children) policy, with our goals to ensure a safe, welcoming, and stimulating on-site environment for the children in care. Children will enjoy a variety of activities like doing arts and crafts, basic math concepts for elementary and sometimes for middle school age students.
Who is eligible for childminding services?
Childminding is available to eligible parents (Permanent Residents, Refugees) who are attending programs or information sessions provided by Neepawa & Area Immigrant Settlement Services.
NAISS Programs:
Childminding is a program for children of EAL students attending EAL classes held during Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
We also provide assistance for Women’s Group Information sessions
HIPPY program for clients on-site
EYP (Parenting Group)
Healthy Baby Program
And other clients in the office with appointments as PR
What are the age ranges that we provide services to?
Age range is from 18 months and above until 12 years old.
