Neepawa and Area Immigrant Settlement Services is a not-for-profit organization funded by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to provide settlement services to immigrants eligible under IRCC criteria. NAISS has been operating since 2008 and became an incorporated not-for-profit entity in 2016.
The mission of Neepawa and Area Immigrant Settlement Services, Inc. is to welcome and empower permanent residents, refugee newcomers, and their families within our service area to make informed decisions regarding their settlement and full integration into their new life in Canada. We achieve this by providing services that include information sharing, training, appropriate referrals to community agencies, and other supports that assist newcomers to make the best decisions for themselves and their families. Along with this, we seek to assist the communities in welcoming and embracing newcomers to foster the full participation of all residents where they live, work, play, and pray.
