Meet some of our volunteers!

Sarah Jean “Lala”

Probably one of the bubbliest persons we’ll ever meet, Sarah is one of our newcomers here in town. She had been volunteering her time and effort at the Salvation Army.

Great job Lala! We’re very proud of you!

Zarah

This awesome mom of 2 had also been volunteering with her friend, Lala, at the Salvation Army. Working with friends definitely has its merits. She was recently hired at Salvation Army.

We love seeing her succeed and we know this is just the beginning of her journey. Awesome job Zarah! We’re very proud of you!

Nataliia

Our lovely Nataliia, with her very sweet personality, has been volunteering at Salvation Army. We applaud her for her hard work in the community of Neepawa. Stop by and say hi when you see her at the store!

Fantastic Job Nataliia! Keep up the great work!

Palliative Volunteer Training Program - A Success!

Pictured above is our first batch of palliative volunteers with the Regional Volunteer and Bereavement Coordinator - Carla and Palliative Care Coordinator - Mary-Ellen. The three-day training that was held in the Neepawa Settlement Services office was a complete success! Our new volunteers learned a lot and are excited on this new opportunity for them.

We want to congratulate all of you that joined the training. You guys did a wonderful job and we wish you nothing but the best as you now start your journey as palliative care volunteers!
