Important Announcement Regarding MB Health Delays

Dear valued clients,

***UPDATE: We spoke with MB Health, and they told us that as of right now, it takes about 3 to 4 months before they can start working on your file. Once they begin, you'll get an email from them saying they've started, and after that, it will take another 7 to 10 business days for your card to arrive in the mail.

We acknowledge and empathize with the frustration some of you may be experiencing due to delays in receiving your MB Health.

We want to draw your attention to the official statement from the MB Health spokesperson, shown in the attached photos. These delays are attributed to "increased demand" and "operational challenges" faced by MB Health.

Furthermore, our observations indicate that MB Health is currently still processing requests dating back to June 27th, leading to extended processing times due to a backlog.

It's essential to clarify that MB Health and Neepawa Settlement are separate agencies. As Neepawa Settlement, our role revolves around guiding you through necessary forms, conducting informational sessions, and providing programs to assist newcomers in acclimating and integrating into their new environment. We are not directly engaged in the processing of personal documentation and, consequently, cannot make phone calls to MB Health on your behalf.

We share in your frustration and genuinely appreciate your patience during this challenging time. Rest assured, we are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. Together, as a community, we will navigate through these challenges.

Thank you for your understanding.
